Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits given to you by the warranties below are in addition to these rights.

This warranty is given by Haverford Brands Pty Ltd (ABN 50 000 022 551) trading as Just Pro Tools (“Just Pro Tools”, “we”, “us” or “our”). In this policy, “you” means the person who purchased the goods.

2. What is covered and for how long
Maxim Pro Series and Maxim products
These products are warranted for 24 months against structural defects, and for 12 months in respect of wheels, handles and drawer slides. These products are warranted for indoor use only.
Maxim HD and Seville products
These products are warranted for 12 months against manufacturing defects and faulty materials.
Stealth air tools
These products are warranted for 12 months against faulty workmanship and materials. Accessories, including sanding pads, springs and chucks, are excluded from this warranty.
Extended warranties are no longer offered on these products. An extended warranty purchased before that offering was withdrawn continues to apply in accordance with its terms for the balance of its term.
Tool organisation (inc. Stealth branded products)
These products are warranted against manufacturing defects and faulty materials for the working life of the product, for so long as the product remains owned by the original purchaser. “Working life” means the period during which the product remains capable of performing its intended function under normal use and with reasonable care.
Flooring tiles
These products are warranted for 24 months against defects in materials and workmanship.
3. What is not covered
(a)Overloading, abuse or misuse.
(b)Normal wear and tear.
(c)Use of a product for a purpose it was not designed or manufactured for.
(d)Use of Maxim Pro Series, Maxim HD or Seville ranges outdoors.
(e)Accessories and consumables, where stated above.
Customers who qualify for the Maxim Apprentice Program may be entitled to additional warranty periods, as set out in the Maxim Apprentice Program Terms.
These exclusions apply to the voluntary warranties in this policy. They do not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which apply regardless.
4. How to make a claim
1.Email sales@justprotools.com.au with your order number, a description of the problem and photographs showing it.
2.We will respond within three business days and advise you of the next step, being whether you are required to return the item, whether we will inspect it, or whether we will supply a replacement part.
3.If we ask you to return the item, pack it securely. We will arrange and pay for the freight.
5. What we will do
Where a valid warranty claim is made, we will repair the item, replace it, or supply replacement parts, at our option. Where the failure is a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law, you may choose a refund or a replacement instead.
6. Who pays
We pay the cost of returning a faulty item to us and of returning the repaired or replaced item to you. If an inspection shows the item is not faulty and the claim is not covered, you are responsible for the cost of that inspection and of return freight. We will notify you of those costs before they are incurred and will not proceed without your authorisation.
7. Discontinued products
If we stop selling a product, the warranty on units already purchased continues to apply for its full term. Where we can no longer obtain parts or a replacement for a discontinued product, we will offer a comparable replacement or a refund of the price you paid, and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are unaffected.
8. Change of mind returns
This policy covers faults and defects. If you have changed your mind about a purchase, our 30-Day Money Back Guarantee applies instead. The fact that goods are covered by this warranty does not prevent you from relying on that guarantee in respect of a change of mind return.
