Deyon Blake has been building out his garage in Shepparton, Victoria over several years, documenting the process along the way on the Garage Journal forum and his DFB's Garage YouTube channel. This time, he's sharing how three Maxim HD Mega 60 Extra Wide Storage Cabinets keep a busy garage from turning into a mess.

Three cabinets, three jobs
Deyon runs three of these cabinets side by side, each one assigned to a different part of his garage and garden care business.
"I have three of these cabinets side by side in my garage. One of them holds a bulk supply of detailing chemicals and tools. The second holds a variety of power tools, including polishers, impact guns, woodworking tools, vacuums and accessories. The third cabinet keeps a variety of garden tools and equipment out of sight, as well as a service and spare parts hub for the tools I use in my garden care business, think air filters, blades, spark plugs, cables and so on."
Shelving that adapts to what's stored
With that range of items to store, Deyon points to the independent shelving as the feature that makes the cabinets work for him.
"Because of the vast assortment of items being stored, I appreciate how adaptable these cabinets are. For example, rather than shelves spanning the entire width of the cabinet, each side has its own set of shelves. This means you have full flexibility as to where the shelves go, allowing you to accommodate short or tall items with less compromise. Changing the layout at any point is quick and easy."
